During this pandemic, Zoom has risen to national prominence with everyone working/taking classes from home. But like everything good on the Internet today, the other shoe quickly dropped. Thankfully Zoom doesn’t have any old tweets with slurs or #MeToo accusations (yet). Instead Zoom has received some backlash in the last few days over privacy concerns and connections to the Chinese government. So the company, wisely, hired a former employee of the one company synonymous with online privacy….Facebook.
